Prerequisites

Bachelor of Applied Science with a GPA of at least 5.0 or satisfy the Executive Dean that the student is suitably qualified to undertake honours.

Additional application information

Domestic students and international students who wish to study from their home country, may enrol in external mode. A short period of time on campus may be required to complete the external program and this will be negotiated with the Head of School upon enrolment.
It is an expectation that students will have private access to a computer and the Internet.

Why study the Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours)?

In 2017, this program will be replaced with three new named degree programs:

The Honours program is designed to build on the knowledge of science, technology and management that students have developed in their pass degree and in the areas of their chosen field. Students undertake an Honours project to research and report on a defined topic in their field. Available projects include animal production; the equine industry; parks and wildlife management; plants; food science and the environment.

To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours), a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
