Why study the Associate Degree in Business?
The Associate Degree in Business is a Faculty of Business, Economics and Law program designed for delivery by UQ College to provide both a stand-alone UQ qualification in Business for UQ College students, and to be an articulation pathway for students into the UQ Bachelor of Business Management (BBusMan). The Associate Degree is therefore closely aligned to the structure and content of the foundation component of the BBusMan. The Associate Degree in Business is designed to give students skills in mathematics and writing, plus core knowledge in management, accounting, marketing, law and finance, plus access to courses in the fields of commerce, and tourism.

Program rules for the Associate Degree in Business
To complete the Associate Degree in Business
To fulfil the requirements of the Associate Degree in Business, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list.
A student is required to obtain 32 units from the AssocDBus List comprising -
- 26 units of compulsory courses from Group 1; and
- 6 units from Group 2
