Why study Management?

This field is aimed at high achieving students who have completed a Bachelor of Business Management in a management-related field such as eBusiness; Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations; International Business; Management and Organisations; or Marketing and who wish to pursue an honours year. Students complete #12 (units) of compulsory courses including a research thesis and courses in contemporary research issues and qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, plus #4 (units) of Business electives.

Employment opportunities

Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Management Honours program in the field of Management can expect to find career opportunities within both public and private sector organisations. A wide range of specific employment opportunities include: business economics, business policy and strategy, business research and consulting, entrepreneurship, general management positions, industrial relations, international business, marketing negotiation and advocacy, occupational health and safety management,sales and retailing, small business and human resource management, staff recruitment and selection, staff training and development.
