Why study Food Entrepreneurship?

The Food Entrepreneurship field of study seeks to leverage UQ's global leadership positions in food and agriculture and Lean start-up methodology to create skilled food entrepreneurs and innovators by providing students with access to product and technical insight in partnership with UQ School of Food and Agriculture Science (SAFS), Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI), Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF) and CSIRO food research groups. By providing students with access to new product and technological ideas and consumer insight along with entrepreneurship and innovation skills, this program will result in a new wave of innovative and globally focused commercial food innovations, innovators and entrepreneurs.
