The business analytics major meets the data analytic and decision making challenges confronting firms by providing students interested in the applied business disciplines with an understanding of the fundamental concepts of data science as they apply to business. The major is designed to familiarise students with the technology needed to be effective data scientists working in business and to equip students with a working knowledge of the types of problems relevant to business and frameworks for solving them.
