Why study Biology?
You will study life processes and living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, evolution and distribution. As a biologist you will play a major role in confronting the growing number of issues facing our planet in areas as diverse as agriculture, health and medicine, and management of sensitive environments.
When you select Biology as your BAdvSc(Hons) major you will specialise in one of the sub-disciplines of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Ecology, Genetics, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Plant Science or Zoology.
