Why study Buildings and Environments?

The Buildings and Environments major, places particular emphasis on the role that designers can play in shaping the way the world works. Courses cover important aspects of both building and planning including sustainability and conservation, transport and infrastructure, architecture and built environment, and the economic and social aspects of development. Graduates from this major would seek to work for future focused organisations that use design to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions in the built environment industry.
