Course description
A contextual approach to animal health technologies with a focus on small animal species including laboratory animals. The emphasis will be on the role of the Veterinary Technologist in the disciplines of medicine, surgery, anaesthesia and radiology. As well as, applied anatomy, nutrition and principles of infection control, drug regulations, basic pharmacology and occupational health and safety issues in animal health technologies.
