Course description

This course will develop professional and clinical competencies in the assessment, diagnosis and management of developmental language delays, disorders and differences in children aged 0 to 5 years. By completion of the course, students will gain knowledge of typical language development; gain skills in differential diagnosis between typical language development and language delay/disorder/difference; be able to identify a range of assessment procedures and appropriate interventions for young children with language delays/disorders/differences.
