Course description
A critical coverage of the principles and applications of qualitative research methods for language investigations, including: action research, case studies, ethnographic methods and grounded theory; surveys, observation, fieldwork, focus groups and experimental approaches; text and discourse markup, analysis and interpretation, all with special reference to language learning and use. This course may be cancelled if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
