Course description
This course examines the interaction between law and public policy making, by seeing the law as a political instrument of governance. The first section of the course looks at the legal institutional context within which policy making occurs, and uncovers the political nature of this context. The second section of the course investigates important and controversial areas of policy making and their interaction with the law.
