Course description

This course explores the foreign policy intentions, choices and behaviour of key actors in the international system as they strive to cope with, shape and reshape the international order. The changing international system and its implications for global stability and the stability of selected regions are of central concern. Attention is also directed toward issue areas that dominate international relations in this young twenty-first century (including terrorism, weapons proliferation, the competition for energy resources, and regional and international hegemony).
