Course description
This course reviews the nutritional and dietary requirements of humans for different periods of their lifespan and for specific physiological states. It covers requirements for good health and normal development, and for some specific diseases. The course will also provide the student with an insight into the major nutrition issues at each stage of life and the effects of psychosocial and cultural factors on nutritional health.
