Course description

Anatomy & physiology of the urinary & renal systems using an elderly woman who is dehydrated & suffers incontinence as a practice problem. The role of the kidneys in fluid, electrolyte & acid-base homeostasis & introduction to microbiology. The major physical & psychological milestones during adulthood & old age. Issues associated with the nursing management of this person.
