Philosophy of mine waste disposal & rehabilitation; overview of Australian & international regulations. Physical & chemical nature of mine wastes; disposal of mine wastes; geomechanics of mine waste disposal & rehabilitation; rehabilitation of mine wastes; risk assessment & remedial measures.
