Course description
Understanding the significance of Australia's marine systems & their importance in the global scene. Diversity of environments, both pristine & altered, sites of conservation significance, endangered plants & animals & jurisdictional responsibilities. Field trips are not compulsory but highly recommended. Approximate field fees - $250 for North Stradbroke Island and $600 for Heron Island Research Station (incl GST).
