Course description
This is an upper advanced level course, for students who have completed JAPN3102 or equivalent. In this course, Students will gain practical and insightful introduction to a range of situations in its social context and the Japanese corporate world. In particular, students will learn ways to analyse the context in which different levels of politeness appear in relationships between the interlocutors.
