Course description

Students will build on their acquisition of the four basic language skills from the previous level; they will increase their fluency in both speaking and listening, and construct increasingly longer and more complex sentences. A focus will be placed on using Japanese for functional communication, as such students improve their Japanese competencies in the course of acquiring pragmatic skills and cultural knowledge associated with structures. This course is a companion course to JAPN3010.
