Course description

This course aims to prepare students for a variety of roles in gaming managment. Students will evaluate the negative and positive socio-economic impacts of gambling and will develop an understanding of gambling motivations in an Australian and international context, focusing on casinos and gaming venues, the cruise industry, speciality rail hospitality and the development in on-line gambling. The growth of this sector of the international tourism and hospitality industries will be examined.
