Course description

Develops an understanding of modern Australia by examining major episodes & transformations in Australian society & culture since Federation in 1901. The emphasis is on the effects of these developments on ordinary people and everyday life, and on the use of memoirs and oral histories as historical sources. This course may not run if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
