Course description

Provides students with skills and knowledge necessary for working with people with motor, sensory, cognitive or behavioural impairments in the professional practice of clinical exercise physiology. Includes critical review of the evidence-base underpinning practice. In addition to lectures and tutorials, student learning is enhanced through the delivery of the Schools Adapted Physical Activity Program, which assists community-dwelling adults with disabilities to become more physically active.
