Course description
This course is designed to challenge preservice teachers to use their knowledge, expertise and experience to design learning environments that will engage students in the learning process and cater for a variety of learning styles. This includes the principles and methods of curriculum development, implementation and assessment applied to teaching of English in secondary schools; preparing curriculum materials and their rationales; observations of teaching; examination of current issues in English teaching.
