Course description
This course is offered as EDUC2716 from 2011.
This course includes 5 days field experience. Students are required to hold a current 'Blue Card' (Working with Children Check) Applications are available at, and should be submitted through, the School of Education. This course introduces pre-service educators to historical & contemporary views of the mind drawing distinctions between individual & social conceptualisations. Mind and culture as socially constructed concepts are explored within cultural and historical contexts & belief structures.
