Course description

Empirically based analysis of the behaviour of consumers, firms and the economy as a whole, emphasizing the effects of complexity and incomplete and dispersed knowledge on resource allocation. The roles played by rules, networks and institutions in economic systems. Economic relevance of chaos and complexity theory.
