Course description

A course on the advanced analysis and design of structural elements for students looking towards a career in Structural Engineering. The course covers: composite steel-concrete structures, elastic and rigid plastic analysis of composite beams, composite columns, composite connections, Advanced composite materials, mechanical properties, Failure theories, FRP strengthened RC/steel beams, FRP confined concrete columns.
