Course description
(No longer offered) Introduction to energy systems with an emphasis on sustainability, gas cleaning, gasification, CO2 capture & storage, renewable & non-renewable resources & energy processes, & power engineering. A range of engineering principles will be consolidated (i.e. mass & energy balances, process optimisation & power generation) in tandem with the application of sustainability principles & business perspectives from the power industry in Australia.
