Course description
This course provides students with a detailed understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the equine digestive system. The pathophysiology of nutritionally related diseases will be covered. The nutrient requirements of horses of all categories will be discussed. Knowledge of the nutrient sources available for horses with be related to the formulation of diets for all classes of horses.
