Course description
A comprehensive understanding of animal reproductive biology covering topics such as embryology, factors affecting oestrous cycle activity, oestrus detection, assessment of reproductive hormones, oestrus synchronization, embryo transfer, IVP, semen collection and evaluation, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis, reproductive pathology, gamete and embryo cryopreservation, contraceptive technology and selected reproductive biology of aquacultural species, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals (feline, canine, equine, camels, rodents, bats and humans). Practical training in skills associated with reproductive assessment and management.
