If you are a survivor of sexual assault or misconduct, you are not to blame and you are not alone. It is your right to choose whether to report rape, sexual assault or sexual harassment.

Many survivors who decide to report do not do so immediately. It is never too late to make a report or to seek help from UQ, community groups or the police.

The Sexual Misconduct Support Unit is dedicated to providing support to survivors including:

  • assistance with investigating options
  • reasonable adjustments to your academic program
  • advice on housing and financial support
  • emotional support and counselling
  • information about how to report experiences of sexual assault and misconduct to the University.
