Changes to student email access via my.UQ
What is happening?
UQ student email accounts are currently hosted on the Microsoft Office 365 platform. On April 28, 2017, Microsoft is changing the way you access email through my.UQ.
From April 19 until April 28, 2017, a rolling process will transition UQ students to use their Microsoft Office 365 password.
These changes only apply to student email access through my.UQ.
At a point during this period, on the my.UQ email page, you will receive a prompt to click a button to use your Microsoft Office 365 password.
Access to your UQ student email account using any other method is unaffected.
What do I need to do?
To continue accessing your UQ student email account through my.UQ, you will need to click the login button on the mail page and use your Microsoft Office 365 password.
Please note your primary student email alias ends with @uqconnect.edu.au.
If you have never set, or have forgotten your email password, please visit the student email section of the ITS website, or log into my.UQ and use the email tools available on the email page.
